主要研究方向为机器人视觉导航、人工智能和机器视觉技术。主持完成国家自然科学基金青年科学基金、江苏省产学研联合创新资金--前瞻性联合研究项目各1项、企业委托横向项目5项。目前主持在研国家自然科学基金面上项目、企业委托横向项目各1项。近年来发表学术论文近40篇,其中SCI检索论文10余篇,EI检索论文20余篇,授权发明专利6项,软件著作权9项。
